GOODWINS INDIANA MICRO WEEK
THREE OAKS, MI (July 1st, 2024) - Circle City Raceway Results
Thursday night the car lacked some speed in Practice/Qualifying but overall a good shake down run of the new car. We picked up speed all night and made improvements through the night but fell short of putting it in the show. We are making gains though on this new car and figuring out what it likes and doesn’t like.

Qualifying -> 7th in group
Heat race: started 7th -> 7th finish
B-Main: started 7th -> 6th finish
Rush County Fairgrounds Results
Friday night the car gained speed all day. The team made a gear change after qualifying to try and gain more speed. Goodwin started 6th in the heat race and gained one spot to finish 5th. That placed Garett in the B-Main with the top 3 finishers transferring to the A Feature. Garett started 2nd and was able to finish 2nd to put it in the show. Goodwin started 17th in the 20 car field and made some ground through the race but unfortunately Garett got caught up in the loose dirt after riding the cushion out of turn 4 and caught the wall and went for a little ride. Driver is all good and the crew spent all night rebuilding the car. Unfortunately Mother Nature won the race on Saturday and canceled the event.

B-Main: 2nd -> 2nd
Feature: 17th -> 19th

We are planning our next race for July 13th at Southern Illinois Raceway for another HART - Heartland Auto Racing Tour race!
